    Seeing some Tokyo rockers on a trip to Japan reportedly inspired Jim Jarmusch to include the greaser couple in Mystery Train.

    That 1920s Halloween dance clip is pretty much the best thing ever.

    I wish I could find that wonderful one where all the couples slide on down to Hell, which is a swanky nightclub with the Devil as maitre-dee. There’s a synchronized-swimming devil’s dance, and it ends with an adorably lame joke.

    I didn’t even think it was from a movie. I thought it was one of those pre-movie bits they ran, based on vaudeville jokes or to show off studio talent.
